How to Install Windproof Roller Blinds
A zip-track roller blind is installed by fixing the brackets or frame first, mounting the cassette, and then feeding the fabric zipper edges into the aluminium side tracks. Both side tracks have to be aligned plumb so the tensioned fabric travels without binding. eziptrack publishes two illustrated step-by-step guides, one for rails-first mounting inside the frame and one for fixing outside the window frame.

Method A
Installation outside the window frame
Remove the left and right side rail covers
Lean the side rail against the window frame and mark the hole position with a pencil
Drill holes with an electric drill
Put in the expansion rubber plug
Fix the side rails with screws
Lift the cover assembly and insert the fabric zipper into the guide strip
Insert the end cap assembly into the side rail
Put on the side rail cover
Dismiss the slingshot into the side rail cover
The installation is complete
Method B
Installation outside the window frame
Remove the left and right side rail covers
Take out the side rail guide strip
Put the side rail into the window hole and mark the position of the hole with a pencil
Use an electric drill to make a hole and put in the expansion rubber plug
The main body of the cover is inserted into the side rail
Put the main body of the cover and the side rails into the window hole together
Fix the side rails with screws
Install the guide rubber strips back to the side rails (The rubber strips need to be tilted to ensure that the fabric zipper is inserted into the guide rubber strips)
Put on the side rail cover
Put the slingshot back into the side rail cover, the installation is complete
